All Professionals offices and agents are licensed under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 and operate under the REAA Code of Professional Conduct and Client Care.
We take pride in our reputation and value the trust and goodwill we have from both buyers and sellers. We will not tolerate unprofessional behaviour from any of our agents or staff.
We welcome your feedback. Whether offering comments or suggestions on how we can improve our service, or expressing satisfaction or dissatisfaction with any part of the buying or selling process with us - we want to hear from you. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the service you have received, please let us know immediately and allow us the opportunity to put things right using our complaints procedure below.
If you prefer, you can make a complaint to the Real Estate Autority in the first instance, or at any time.
If you have a complaint, we encourage you to first discuss the issue with the agent or staff member you have been dealing with.
If this does not resolve the issue, please contact the office and ask to speak to the branch manager or business owner. You can also submit feedback in writing via email to info@redcoats.co.nz. Please ensure you provide your name, contact details, the nature of your enquiry and a brief description.
Our complaints procedure follows the guidelines provided in accordance with Rule 10 Real Estate Agents Act (Professional Conduct and Client Care Rules) 2008. More information, can be found here.
At times we may enhance our service through the use of another professional, such as a mortgage broker, utilities connection service or another appropriate professional. That person or organisation will enter into any agreement for services with you directly and may pay us a referral fee.
If you have been referred to us by another professional, Redcoats may in some situations receive a referral fee. However, our first priority is to act in the best interests of our clients and customers, and not be influenced by referral fees, gifts or any other type of incentive.
We have minimum volume commitments and maximum expenditure levels with some advertising corporations. If we don't meet our booking target, we must still pay the minimum fee. If we exceed our booking target, we may make savings on our base charges.
